is searching for an energetic and dynamic Director of Marketing and Innovation

to expand the organization’s reputation, influence and impact

within the Developmental Services Sector

We need someone who can bring our brand into the spotlight!

 

The key challenge of this position is in the development and implementation of a long-term marketing and communication strategy to support the achievement of our strategic objectives.  Leading a small team of managers and reporting directedly to the CEO this leader will utilize their expertise and experience to guide the organization in Fund Development, communication, marketing and IT initiatives.  This also includes overall responsibility for E3 Social Enterprises.

 

As part of the E3 Leadership Team you will develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures in technology, marketing, community engagement and fund development to align with overall Agency goals and priorities while ensuring that the agency meets all legislative requirements.  

 

This full-time position is based in Collingwood, ON, working predominantly Monday – Friday. This includes flexible hours, which could include evenings and weekends.  In addition, some travel from site to site will be required.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight (8) years experience in business administration with a minimum of four (4) years in a supervisory capacity with a 4-year post-secondary degree in business studies (or equivalent in education and experience) with additional training in information technology. 

 

Proficiency in computer systems and networks, familiarity with digital technologies, web design and content management systems are a must.  In addition to strong communication skills, written and oral, the candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and experience in brand development.  Working knowledge of French would be appreciated but is not required.

Key duties:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the Agency I.T. strategy. Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established priorities. Analyze the business and support requirements of all departments to determine technology needs. Develop I.T. policies, systems management and training to support the implementation of the overall I.T. strategy and efficient operations. Provide leadership to management on all agency technology matters
  • Overall accountability to the CEO, for community engagement and resource development activities. To develop a strategy designed to cultivate inclusive communities supportive of Agency goals and the goals of the people we serve. To develop and nurture meaningful relationships, community partnerships, and a strong membership. To support Agency goals through grant programs, fundraising strategies and donor programs. 
  • Develop, implement and maintain a fully integrated marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing, social media and public relations to align with the Agency’s overall goals and priorities. Develop and implement a brand strategy for new and existing supports, services and products offered by the Agency.
  • Providing leadership and direction to our Social Enterprises and positioning those enterprises for success.
