We are hiring for the following positions:

PERMANENT POSITIONS:

ONE (1) FULL-TIME DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

(40 hours/week: Shifts consist of a rotation of days, evenings & every second weekend (Sat & Sun))

For our Community Residential Home (Richmond​)

TWO (2) PART-TIME DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS

(16-34 hours/week: shifts are a rotation of days, evening, occasional overnights & every second weekend (Sat & Sun))

For our Community Residential Homes (Ottawa & surrounding communities)

Working as a part of a team, your goal is to provide person-centered support in meeting people’s needs and helping others to realize their gifts to belong to their community.  

Our ideal candidates will enjoy working in changing environments, being challenged to come up with creative solutions in supporting people in a person-centered way, as well as assist others with their activities of daily living (including personal care). You will be goal driven, supporting individuals in finding purpose in their community.

The successful person will have confidence and experience with providing behavior support intervention as well as knowledge in dual diagnosis supports.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Satisfactory 3-year Uncertified Driver’s Abstract
• Valid G Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation

Preferred:

• 3-6 Months’ Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field is preferred
