About this position
Substitute Program Facilitator, Toronto
Contract Dates: October 2020 – March 2021
DAREarts was born out of the vision that every child deserves to see excellence in themselves and every child deserves the opportunity to experience the transformational power of the arts. Today, through partnerships with over 50 schools across Canada, DAREarts provides young people with the opportunity to create a turning point in their lives.
Our programs disrupt common conceptions of youth leadership development. Instead of focusing on young people that have already demonstrated their leadership capacity, we see our programs as a critical intervention for children and youth who, for many reasons, may never consider themselves as leaders without support. We believe leaders aren't born, they're grown and as such, we create a learning environment where participants can develop the skills, behaviors and confidence they need to see themselves as capable of making positive change in their own lives and in their communities.
A DAREarts Substitute Facilitator assists in a wide range of program deliverables on an as-needed basis.
