Senior Pastor – Grace Church

This executive search is conducted by Nelson/Kraft & Associates on behalf of Grace Church

Grace Church is seeking a highly relational and visionary preacher and teacher to lead the congregation as their next Senior Pastor.

Grace Church is a congregation of about 120-150 located in Abbotsford, BC. It desires to be a growing, multi-generational church. Grace is seeking a Senior Pastor who has a passion for Jesus and is committed to sound Bible teaching and preaching. He will model and teach others to disciple well and have a genuine desire to connect relationally with people. Godly character and a desire to discern and follow God’s leading are essential. A deep passion for reaching the lost and marginalized people of the world should be evident. He should be gifted in speaking and moving people to action. Among other things, the incoming Senior Pastor will continue to cultivate a culture and lifestyle of prayer within the body, discerning God’s direction for the church together with the congregation. He will teach others how to disciple well and, in the process, develop and raise up new leaders, recast vision and stir up commitment to advancing the mission and vision of Grace Church.

Overall, the Senior Pastor will provide general spiritual oversight, comprehensive leadership to pastoral care of the congregation and overall guidance of church ministries, staff and lay leadership of the church.

If you are called to pastoral ministry and have a set of values and convictions that align with Grace Church, we would love to hear from you.

On October 20, 1946, the Grace Evangelical Bible Church of Abbotsford, with 27 charter members, was organized and the building was dedicated. By 1948, the congregation had outgrown their facility and a property was purchased on Busby Street. In the early 1970s there was a desire to reach out to the community at large, so the congregation purchased property on McMillan Road where a larger facility was built and dedicated on September 16, 1973.

We are a community where people are discovering ways in which God wants to use them to fulfill His purposes in the world. Our desire is for people to deepen their relationship with Jesus, grow in their knowledge of God, develop the gifts and strengths that God has given them and help them find a place to put those gifts and strengths to work for the kingdom of God.

Grace Church is affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches (FEBC). To hear more about FEBC, follow this link.
