Residential Support Staff - Community Corrections (Relief and Part-Time)

About this position

The Salvation Army's Bunton Lodge Community Residential Facility is currently hiring Relief and potentially Part-Time Support staff who are available to work overnight, weekend, STAT holidays and last minute shifts. Hourly rate is $20.22/hour. 

Responsibilities

-To provide support to our clients (adult, males, serving Federal sentences, on conditional release)

-To perform administrative duties (log telephone calls, write reports, maintain files, keep logbooks up-to-date)

-To perform security checks (make rounds around facility at various times throughout shift)

Qualifications

-Completed post secondary education in community corrections, justice services, social work, or social sciences

-A responsible and team oriented person who is also able to work independently

-Ability to develop and maintain professional rapport with clients and peers

-Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)

-Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
