Furniture Bank is looking for a Client Services Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and be able to support the Client Services team as we strive to serve more clients each year. You will be expected to find and implement efficiency improvements in the client intake process. You will be resourceful, an exceptional communicator, a collaborator and have a sense of humour. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Provide exceptional customer and client service for guests including agency program services, volunteers, individuals and families
  • Be the first point of contact for Furniture Bank whether that be online, in-person or over the phone
  • Answer questions and provide high level of support to guests, agencies, volunteers and visitors and anyone visiting Furniture Bank
  • Communicate with agency workers and agency clients regarding furniture concerns
  • Check and follow up with emails and voicemails consistently throughout the day
  • Ensure the client services area is well maintained and contributes to a welcoming space for visitors
  • Schedule and coordinate agency client deliveries and the receipting and processing agency client referrals
  • Generate, accept, and close payments (furniture delivery fees)
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to furniture deliveries
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the experience at Furniture Bank for clients, guests, agencies, volunteers and visitors is inclusive and seamless
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new agency workers
  • Participate in existing and new projects that enable Furniture Bank to fulfill its mission
  • Assist in maintaining referral program activities such as laundering linens and taking inventory
  • Occasional travel to nearby storage facilities
  • Assist with training of volunteers as needed
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated initiative to manage multiple priorities with ease and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and react quickly to situations and inquiries
  • Ability to create and maintain meaningful relationships with community members and partnering agencies
  • Prior database management experience is required (Salesforce is an asset)
  • Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office (word, excel)

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
