You can do just that, as the Campaign Coordinator at the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, the central fundraising and planning organization for the Jewish community of Greater Vancouver. Since its founding in 1987, Federation’s committed volunteers and dedicated staff have provided leadership and vision, enabling our community to meet its growing needs. The Campaign Coordinator provides critical support for the Federation Annual Campaign. The Annual Campaign raises approximately $9M each year, and in 2020, raised an additional $2M to support Community Recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This position reports to the Campaign Director, and has responsibility in four main areas: Campaign Operations, Events and Programming, Volunteer Management, and Donor Relationship Management.
This position requires a keen passion for purpose-based fundraising. We are looking for a self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team, who will work to elevate the organization’s Annual Campaign and financial resource development goals.
The successful candidate will have the following competencies and characteristics:
- Passion for purpose-based fundraising is essential, above all else.
- Highly organized with exceptional project planning and management skills.
- Impeccable written English communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Customer service oriented, with a dependable and professional work ethic.
