We are currently seeking an experienced account executive with strong project management skills in the retail sector, and with experience and/or interest in the alcohol beverage industry.

The account executive is responsible for flawless execution of client projects by providing superior support and ongoing communication on all aspects of the project's critical path. The account executive interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client and the account services team. Customer service, quality control, critical path management and budget control are of equal priority to this role.

Description

  • Maintains direct, day-to-day client contact seeking approvals, feedback, briefs and input on projects
  • Project manages and executes delivery of creative, including, but not limited to, flyers, CRM, ROP, digital ads, managing budget and timelines, and working with traffic
  • Gathers and assembles background information and analyses as needed by account director in development of briefs, etc.
  • Provides support to account director, including responding to client phone calls and emails, production and creative deadlines, meeting reports, meeting agendas and set-up, finances and billing
  • Provides input in client planning stage with account director
  • Handles paperwork and maintains files on all client activities, their competitors and their industries; maintains client correspondence file, approvals, copy, forms/documents, supplies for daily processing and tracking of account service work, etc.
  • Provides creative, production, media, social media, public relations and interactive department teams with well-documented input, support data and production materials as required; ensures that advertising strategies are clearly defined, approved by clients, and understood by the creative, media and interactive groups
  • Ensures all media and projects proceed according to plan and deadlines, alerting account director to potential problems before they occur
  • Ensures that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers

Qualifications

  • Education: Postsecondary
  • Experience: Minimum 2- 3 years experience in an agency environment, ideally retail experience, with interest/experience in alcohol beverage industry
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, financial knowledge, detailed, organized, efficient
  • Competencies: Resourceful, customer service focused, ability to work independently and with a team, flexible, ability to handle multiple tasks at a fast pace, punctual
