ABOUT THE TEAM
The Sustainable Finance Solutions (SFS) Team is a new, small and rapid growth business that is responsible for developing and bringing ESG products to multi-national corporations and financial institutions. Our services include green/social/sustainability bond second-party opinions, annual compliance reviews, and other services that help our clients to provide sustainability insights to investors and lenders. This successful new business is already surpassing sales forecasts and has been recognized as “the most impressive second opinion provider” by Global Capital for the past two years. POSITION PURPOSE
As part of the Sustainable Finance Solutions team, the Senior Associate/Manager will support the global resourcing and delivery of our second-party opinion service. Reporting into the Associate Director, SFS Operations, the candidate will facilitate processes that maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the regional research teams. The position covers a broad range of operational and quality management tasks; combining analytical, technical, project management and communication skills to play this role successfully. This position will allow you to be part of a fast-growing and successful organization, work in an entrepreneurial and international environment, and have the opportunity to quickly assume new
responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the Associate Director in assessing and understanding team capacity across regions to effectively resource and schedule projects on an ongoing basis;
- Leveraging and customizing data management tools to understand capacity constraints and resolve issues as they arise;
- Monitoring progress on team targets and providing weekly and monthly updates to team members on performance in relation to production targets;
- Creating monthly production reports for senior management;
- Assisting in the development of tools and business processes for quality assurance, monitoring quality-related KPIs, and responding to quality management issues;
- Creating and updating business process documentation and workflow diagrams for team processes;
- Assisting in the development of new business processes or data management systems to properly track and resource the delivery of our Opinion Services products
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of related work experience in project management, process innovation and/or operational efficiency;
- Master or Bachelor degree in related discipline (business, finance, ICT);
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or PMP designation is a plus;
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, SharePoint, PowerBI;
- Experience in dealing with complex Excel workbooks and other data management tools;
- Experience with, or willingness to learn dynamic publishing software;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across all teams and levels;
- Flexible mindset; adaptable to a constantly shifting work environment;
- Strong analytical skills and creative, problem-solving attitude;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values;
- Working experience in an international culturally diverse environment is a plus;
- Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance is appreciated.
