GGC is actively searching for a Member Growth Specialist-Digital Acquisition

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading girl-driven organization in a role that is critical to unleashing organization potential to grow.

The Member Growth Specialist-Digital Acquisition will be supporting the development and execution of strategies and tactics in attracting, engaging and recruiting new members through online channels. Most importantly, it contributes to a team that helps girls and women across the country to join an exciting movement that allows a girl to be everything she wants to be. The position will also support volunteers in all acquisition projects, pilot programs and local community outreach plans.

The Member Growth Specialist-Digital Acquisition will: 

  • Support provincial and national strategic growth planning with a focus on digital acquisition strategies to attract, engage and recruit new members.
  • Provide project management support in planning, execution and evaluation of digital acquisition campaigns and other lead generation and cultivation activities.
  • Utilizing member segmentation and data-driven insights, support the development of audience targeting and messaging strategy.
  • In collaboration with communications team, contribute to the development of content that attracts and engages new audience to GGC’s digital content marketing efforts.
  • Monitor landing pages and digital lead capture forms in support of face to face and grassroots-based recruitment efforts.
  • Track results, analyze, interpret and make recommendations for improvement for all initiatives, including use of testing.
  • Build data analytics to understand how lead generation and cultivation activity attracts and converts new membership and continually refine the process to efficiently utilize acquisition spend. This includes measuring the impact of traffic, conversion rate and other metrics.
  • With strategic direction from the Social Media Specialist, support Provincial Councils in planning and executing acquisition-related activities in the digital space.
  • Monitor best practices for girl and adult acquisition tactics and design online recruitment activities for GGC to test out.
  • Contribute in forming a community of best practice among National and Provincial Councils to generate a robust body of information and knowledge on successful approaches to membership acquisition and growth.
  • Work with the Member Relations team to further plan, develop and execute the Member Growth Strategy.
  • Apply organizational policies regarding inclusivity to content, communication and customer service.

You are the model candidate if you have:

  • Post-Secondary education/degree in Marketing or Communications-related field of study.
  • Demonstrated success in executing successful growth and sales initiatives.
  • Experience with paid media, other online campaigns, with an ability to use data to inform campaign strategies.
  • Proven experience working with tools and applications including Google Analytics, CRM, email marketing (i.e., Informz), and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
