FULL-TIME & PART-TIME OVERNIGHT (NIGHT AWAKE) DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (For our Community Residential Homes)
(Full-time: 35-40 hours per week)
(Part-time: 16-34 hours per week)
Various locations in OTTAWA & Surrounding Areas
We are looking for passionate Direct Support Professionals (Support Workers) to assist persons with developmental disabilities to find a satisfying and purposeful place in their community by enhancing their quality of life and promoting personal growth.
In this role, you will be supporting individuals who live in community residential homes (group homes/ apartments) during the overnight hours. Responsibilities would include ensuring the safety and well-being of people supported through frequent monitoring, providing personal care support, and complete household maintenance and cleaning activities and other assigned administrative tasks.
We value flexibility in one’s schedule to meet our person-centered support needs. Our overnight positions regularly consist of 10 hours shifts (i.e. 10pm-8am or 11pm-9am) throughout the week.
Our homes are located throughout the Ottawa region so access to reliable transportation may be required to be considered for some of our opportunities.

Requirements:
- 3-6 Months’ Experience.
- Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field, is preferred;
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check;
- Satisfactory 3-year Uncertified Driver’s Abstract;
- Valid G Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
