About this position

Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre (CCMHC) is looking for a Child & Family Therapist to join our team (contract to the end of June 2019). If you enjoy rewarding work and varied responsibilities (therapy, mental health walk-in clinic, research) with a progressive employer, this job is for you.  

CCMHC works exclusively with children up to the age of 12 and their families.  We specialize in behavioral problems and mental health concerns such as aggression, impulsivity, poor social skills, anxiety, sadness, depression, fear, and suicidal thoughts. 

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or equivalent degree;
  • Membership in good standing of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario;
  • A minimum of two years experience;    
  • Training in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach considered an asset;
  • Language skills other than English also considered an asset.

Note:  This position requires working two evenings per week.
